“'It is the birthright of every human being to be able to change the universe', Peter 2.0.
This is one of my favourite quotes of all time. I cannot change the universe at a grand scale, but I can help bring a smile to people's faces and help them live their best possible lives, contribute to the domino effect, and make the Universe a happier place. ”
Anwesha brings a global perspective and lifelong passion for physics to her work at The Scott-Morgan Foundation. Born in India and raised in Tanzania from age four, she developed a keen interest in astronomy and understanding the mechanics of celestial bodies. Anwesha became passionate about the foundation's mission to design innovative assistive tech available to anyone living with an extreme disability after reading Peter 2.0, Dr. Scott-Morgan's book.
Anwesha completed her BSc and MSci at the University of Birmingham in Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Warwick focused on high energy astrophysics. Through her academic research, Anwesha has specialized in machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and scientific writing—in addition to physics. She is passionate about community outreach, writing, and promoting equality across all facets of life. Anwesha's diverse background and interdisciplinary skills equip her to make meaningful contributions as a physicist, educator, and researcher.
