Rafael Nuñez Pineda

Rafael Nuñez Pineda is a Research and Data Analytics Intern at the Scott Morgan Foundation, supporting SMF VoxAI through data collection, analysis, and visualization. SMF VoxAI is an AI communication system that helps people who cannot speak due to ALS, stroke, and other conditions express themselves using personalized AI voices and digital avatars. Rafael contributes to the foundation's efforts to understand user needs and system performance as the platform scales from 20 users today toward serving millions of people worldwide with complex communication and mobility challenges. He is completing his Bachelor's in Business Intelligence at Tecnológico de Monterrey, with experience in Python, SQL, R, and data visualization tools, including Tableau and Looker Studio. Rafael brings a background in robotics programming and team leadership, having trained more than 20 programmers through the FIRST Robotics Competition.
